Today we repeated all that we did yesterday, and Tarni again rode Flamenco around the round yard (with me leading her) for about 5 minutes.
Again, we only spent about 20 minutes with Flamenco, and finished the session on a good note.

I thought of starting anglo arab breeding in Malaysia .Reading your blog come to mind horse breeding can be time consuming and a labour of love : 2 factors which I do not have as I am a 'plumber' .
I will stick to just buying my horses 'off the peg' from horse lovers like you from Down Under .I think endurance breeders and trainers like you are doing this for the love of the sport and above all horses .carry on the diary .
Maybe you will be able to purchase something like this mare in the future? I'm looking forward to seeing how she progresses over the next three years..... the time it takes to 'make' an endurance horse!
But you're right... breeding is very time intensive! It's already been 6 years just to get this mare to this point! (1 year in utero, 5 years on the ground.) And it will take another 3 years before she'll be a competitive horse.
What would you pay for that? Not much?? I've started this blog on Flamenco because I really believe that she'll be a "keeper".
Thank you for your comment, Dr Nik!
